Here are my Top 5 spots in Dubai where I used to love going when I lived there!
SpillTheBean
This was the best dessert I had in my life. Organic sugarfree glutenfree vegan banana cake with cold brew blended with fresh dates. Damn, I’d pay $50 to have this delivered to me now, that’s how good it was! The owner is super nice and they have amazing bookshelves packed with all kinds of interesting books to chose from. As they like to say:
In the entire history of humanity, has there ever been a better match than books and coffee? Doubtful…
Tom&Serg
Tom and Serg is basically what happens when a chef and foodie from Melbourne meets a savy businessman from Madrid and they decide to open a unique and unpretentious spot in Dubai.
Packed with industrial design, strong wifi connection and cool crowd, it is a perfect place for entrepreneurs, freelancers and anyone who is into good food and atmosphere.
RawCoffee Company
This was our go to coffee spot, because it is located in Al Qoiz, very close to where our startup accelerator was located. We would usually order a large Ethiopia Sidamo coffee and enjoy it with organic gluten free food from next door cafe. Raw is a boutique Roastery where you can get premium 100% organic, 100% Fair Trade Arabic coffee and grinders, coffee equipment and some useful tips from their baristas!
Cafe Rider
If you are a coffee snob you simply need to try their cold brew and espresso here. The world famous Ukranian barista makes the best coffee in Dubai if you ask me. Rider is much more than a cafe it is Speciality Coffee, Custom Motorcycles, Art & Lifestyle Store! You will feel like a total rockstar here!
LePain Quotidien
I wish my everyday started like this with large black coffee, raspberry jam and chia seed muffin. For lunch I used to have a soup, large salad bowl and freshly squeezed watermelon. Bomb You can find their shops in most of the malls in Dubai.
